"Having just started my journey with the 17HMR every day has been a learning curve and the biggest hurdle to date was finding a bore guide that actually fitted like those of a centerfire, one that entered the chamber to prevent the leakage of cleaning fluids and oils into the action. And this is it. This guide is a simple tube which is swaged down at one end to the same diameter of a 17HMR shell allowing it to be gently guided inside the chamber and then the larger bush slips onto the tube and into the action to sit freely and support the guide in its position. The guide tube may appear bent slightly but this is explained in the instructions. In my opinion this is the only bore guide that is dedicated to the 17HMR and is the only one every 17HMR owner should have. A huge thanks to Tom & Mark for their patience with all my questions before making my purchase. I hope they see an uptake on demand for this guide. "
