"The Grayboe Pheonix 2 stock for my Tikka T3X fitted my action with zero fitting to do, I dropped in and the original bottom metal fitted well too. The stock is about 8ozs heavier than my original Tikka stock. Somewhere in my research for this stock it I read that it was a few ozs lighter (not at Rifleman Firearms). That said, the stock is very nice and ridged, I added some small strips or grip tape as I thought it may be a bit smooth. Yesterday I used the stock at my range to sight it in and zero my gun for a deer stalking trip later this week. To be honest, I don't think the tape is required. The barrel action is a Tikka T3x Varmint 20" barrel in 6.5x55 Swedish. My group was around 1/2 MOA so happy. I like the QDs, one of the main reasons I went for this stock and it will hang better on my back. I also added a 75mm Arca Swiss rail to the M-Loc section on the bottom. Overall so far I like this stock. The cheek riser is easy to deploy. The stock's ambidextrous nature is appreciate by me as I shoot from the left shoulder and the cheek riser knob does not interfere with this. If you are thinking about updating from your old factory stock, The Grayboe Pheonix 2 is worth considering. It is about 1/2 the cost of other known brands, and unless you really need a carbon stock, you will not be disappointed with the Px 2. "
