What is your prefered calibre and why?

For target shooting over 1,000 yards I prefer using my Sendero 7mm Rem Mag with a Burris scope, for night-time varmint hunting I'm smitten with my Remi 700 .204 Ruger carrying a Photon RT & for daytime long range varmint hunting I use another Remi 700 varmint in .243 using light 58g V-Max handloads - super fast and flat for 300+ yard rabbits, crows & foxes. When it comes to target shooting up to 1,000 yards I use both a Savage FTR in 6mm BR Norma and a custom 6.5x47 both with Leupold glass.

What's your favourite gun of choice and why?

At the moment it's a custom Remington 700 based 6.5 x 47 in an AI AICS stock, Jewel trigger, blue-printed action and a 27" Lother Walther barrel. It shoots like a dream and deadly accurate out to 1000 yards. However, I'm seriously looking at either a Christensen Arms ELR or BA Tactical, they are ahead of the game, lightweight and amazingly accurate with their carbon wrapped barrels.

What's your favourite scope and why?

Leupold (For target) & Zeiss (For stalking) - stunning glass on both accounts!!

Name - Matt

Position - Director

What is your preffered calibre and why?

For Varmint Hunting I like to use a .243 with a 60gr Bullet for fast and flat trajectory. For Targets under 1,000yds I use a .243 Target Rifle with a 95gr bullet and anything over 1,000yds I would use a .300 Win Mag.

What's your favourite gun of choice and why?

Savage 110 BA Stealth - This rifle is capable of shooting over 1 mile, it's out of the box accuracy is very impressive and like most Savage rifles you get a lot extra than most.

What's your favourite scope and why?

My Favourite scope would be the Leupold Mk5 HD 5-25x56 - with super clear glass it's great for Target and hunting, it has also never let me down!

Position - Range Manager

What is your preffered calibre and why?

.223, which allows me to still shoot accurately standing as the recoil is farely light, making it the ideal hunting choice for quick shots and offers longer range and wider choice of vermin to despatch humanely.

What's your favourite gun of choice and why?

My Ruger M77 in .223, reason being it's my only dedicated left-handed rifle. And the freebies that came with it were amazing! Big thanks to Viking Arms who distribute Ruger rifles.

What's your favourite scope and why?

Considering I have a Burris scope that cost over £1,000, my choice is a strange one. But I love my 4-16x50 AO Hawke dedicated .17HMR Reticle. Having the distances etched on the lense saves time when shooting various distances. It works reliably, I managed a magpie at 275yds!

Position - Sales Consultant

What is your preffered calibre and why?

.22lr, it's very quiet with sub sonic ammo, cheap and very accurate.

What's your favourite gun of choice and why?

CZ455, because it just does the job. It's cheap to buy, run and it's light weight.

What's your favourite scope and why?

Hawke dedicated reticle for .17HMR, as it has all the distances etched onto it, it helps make the rifle great for point and shoot.

Position - Website Coordinator

What is your preffered calibre and why?

My preferred calibre is .22 Air Rifle, I use .22 calibre Diablo Jumbo Monster, it's a nice heavy round that makes such a good noise hitting a metal target, it's not the best for tight groups, but it is a lot of fun to shoot!

What's your favourite gun of choice and why?

The K98 Diana Mauser under lever Air Rifle, it's got good noise as well as being accurate, solid contsruction and a blast to use open sights.

What's your favourite scope and why?

The Hawke Panorama 4-12x50 AO MIL DOT IR, it's a good scope for air guns and has a great feel to it, enough zoom as well to hit those longer shots, it's a good scope for a good price and suites my Weihrauch 110 Tactical perfectly.
