As of the 15th of June 2020 our Shop will be reopening and operating our usual opening hours. We ask our customers to please be patient with us as we adhere to government guidelines and allow only 2 customers at a time into the shop.

We are now Covid-19 secure, and have sanitisers and social distancing indicators inside the shop for your safety. Please come to the door and await an invitation into the shop by one of our staff. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Unfortunately we are still not permitted to open the indoor full-bore range at this time due to government restrictions and advice. The full-bore range will remain closed until further notice.

Air Rifle Range User Guide

The air rifle range will re open on Monday 1st June, it will be open to members and non members by advance booking only. Bookings can be made via phone 01458 553062 during range opening times for immediate confirmation and payment. *(see below to arrange a booking before 1/6/2020).

Alternately from Thursday May 28th you can email range@aim-training.co.uk and leave your phone number so we can call you back for payment in advance.

Priority will be given to pre-paying customers, regretfully we will not be taking bookings for any non members who do not own their own air rifles/air pistols.

The range will be running at 50% capacity to follow social distancing guidelines. To maximize member usage we are only allowing 2 hours per member per visit until further notice (this maybe extendable to members shooting after 1pm, please ask at time of booking if this effects you). Regular lane cost will be standard £10 per session (2hrs max).

Please be aware that space will be limited so we ask you only use one rifle at a time and keep any additional rifles in your car, make sure to place any gun bags or cases on the racks provided or under your bench. Do not use the “out of use” lanes and please be considerate to other users and staff. We also ask that you leave on time to avoid any social distancing issues, clear your bench at the end of your session and use the bins provided.

Wind free lanes will cost the standard rate of £12 for 1 hour or £18 for 2 hours (members). If you wish to have your second hour on the open lanes make sure this is booked in advance. £15 for non members (1 hour) or £22.50 for 2 hours.

We will have the usual bottle and filling adapters available for usage, however we now advise you to bring your own filling adapters fitted with a quick release coupler (available at range reception).

Cleaning products and sanitizer will be supplied on the range.

5th May 2020

Just a quick Coronavirus update for our family & friends/customers.

We are still not permitted to open the shop or ranges for general day-to-day sales, we are however, still able to ship most non-firearm related products from our website and discuss requirements, reserve guns and take deposits for orders etc that can be collected as soon as we are allowed to open again.

There are, however, some cases where we are able to sell ammunition and firearms to people who have a specific need that fall within the certain criteria of vermin control and crop or livestock protection.

Please feel free to email Mark on mark@riflemanfirearms.co.uk or call the shop on 01458 253700 (option 1) and leave a message if no-one answers, please bear with us, we will get back to you ASAP!

We are hoping that small businesses & retail outlets will be the first to re-open so as soon as we are given the go ahead and operating criteria, we will let everyone know via social media and our Website.

As of Monday (23/03/20) our Air Rifle and Full-Bore range will be closed until further notice due to the recent guidance from HM Government relating to the COVID-19 virus.

We will be keeping the shop open but, on an appointment only basis due to the social distancing regulations. We can deal with customers on a one-to-one basis. We apologise for the disruption and ask for your patience, we can still take orders for goods online and over the phone.

17th March 2020

In light of the recent Coronavirus developments, we are fully aware of the published advice and implications it has presented to all individuals and businesses.

As we go to press, we are committed to keeping the shop and both ranges open for 'business as usual' for as long as circumstances allow.

We fully appreciate that we all need to exercise a high level of due diligence during this time and would ask that if you are feeling unwell, or are showing any cough, cold, flu or fever symptons, then we would respectfully request that you postpone your visit to a time when you are feeling completely better.

Should you need to cancel or postpone a range booking, then please give us as much notice as possible. Preferable more that 24-hours as per our existing range lane hire cancellation policy which can be found here.   Otherwise we may need to charge you for the lane.

Saying that, we will always work with you to ensure you have the best experience possibly as a valued customer and range member.

We would also respectfully request that you take all recommended precautions both before and during your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable time.
