In a continuous effort to refine and optimize the internal functionality of the DMK22 platform, we’ve lightened the bolt significantly and implemented the same extractor from a Ruger 10/22, allowing for better performance with lower velocity ammunition and more cross platform compatibility. The new CZ 457 model series could not be complete without the popular Varmint model with a varnished American style stock and a heavy 525 mm barrel. It is an ideal rifle for precise sport shooting, as well as hunting at medium to longer distances. There is a 11mm milled groove on the top of the receiver for attachment of a riflescope.

A highly precise model with a special stock made from premium walnut. The thick-walled, cold hammer forged match-grade barrel in .22 LR caliber features a MATCH chamber. Thanks to this and all other improvements of the new CZ 457 series, this model delivers 15 mm groups at a distance of 50 m.
